Baroque opera for children The gratulation opera by the Imperial Deputy Kapellmeister based on the libretto by Pietro Pariati was dedicated to Marianna Pignatelli, Countess of Althann, on the occasion of her name day. The solo parts were composed for her children aged 10 to 16. Dressed as shepherds and nymphs, the children choose flowers which are consistent with their good personal traits as their attributes. Afterwards they together create a gift of a garland of flowers and take it to adorn Goddess Aurora, who is in fact their noble mother. Mirtillo, Count Michael John (born in 1710). Amaranth (blooms in the early morning light) – Juliána Synková – soprano Auretta, Countess Marianna (Sidonia) (born in 1715). Violet (modesty) – Dorota Smělíková – soprano
